Finally, New York was such a breath of fresh air. We have no honeymoon photos to post because Rob & I were so excited to set our cameras down, hold hands, and take in the city’s charm without having to filter it through our lens.We walked a LOT, ate a LOT of amazing food, bought a bunch of new photography equipment … and photographed one of the sweetest couple’s Manhattan engagement session.
Evelyn & Roman’s Punta Cana wedding is coming up in a few short weeks, and we were so excited for the contrast of doing their engagement pictures in New York. We are crossing fingers for beautiful sunny weather on their wedding day, so … rainy and moody Manhattan was just right!!
I was really nervous because this was the first time I was using our new Canon 5D Mark III, but I’m really happy with how the session turned out. This sexy camera works miracles.
We met at the Columbus Circle, at the foot of Central Park, and took a walk under our umbrellas, looking for fun ways to enjoy New York (when all we secretly wanted was to get teleported into a warm blanket & slippers). We got soaked, but it was worth it! It always is. Check out all the colours despite the rain! Roman & Evelyn – thank you for making us feel so special. You are such beautiful people!! Can’t wait for your wedding!!
One of my absolute faves. As if Evelyn wasn’t wet enough from the rain – I recall this curious horse sniffed & sneezed all at once![]()
These lovely Japanese tourists had more gear than we did! They found us very amusing. We found them very amusing too.
From under my umbrella.
Uh-oh. Evelyn & Roman figured out our weakness for wine & cheese, we’re in trouble!![]()
Wanna see where these two are getting married?! This is Blue Marlin Restaurant within Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana resort, one of the most beautiful in Punta Cana.
